Mapping

As for Mapping, a considerable number of 1:2,500 OS and County Series maps are available for inspection in the reference library at Rhiwderin. Listings are available for:

Brecknockshire
Cardiganshire & Carmarthenshire
Glamorganshire
Gloucestershire & Herefordshire
Monmouthshire

A number of OS 1:2500 plan extracts of various locations - mainly Cardiff Valleys - have been scanned for printing as A3 plans. Dates range from 1st Edition (c.1870s) to 3rd Edition (c.1920) plans, some locations being covered by all three editions. These can be supplied as digital files OS plans.
