Sharp, Stewart & Co 4-4-0 - Cambrian and Furness

SCC - Sparkshot Custom Creations - have announced a series of 4mm scale 3D prints of locomotives etc., included in which are a Furness Railway, Class K2 or 21, Sharp, Stewart & Co 4-4-0 and tender. It occurs to me that the prints may provide the basis for a Cambrian Large Bogie Passenger, 61 Class. The two classes share a strong superficial resemblance to each other and 6’ driving wheels. The Cambrian locos had 3'6" bogie wheels and a wheelbase of 5'6" + 6'6½" + 8'3" (from RCTS Vol 10), but I can't comment on their FR equivalents.

Can anyone who knows more about either class comment on the idea?

I've had a look at RCTS part 10 and The Furness Railway Locomotives and Rolling Stock by R.W.Rush (Oakwood). The comparative details are noted below. In each case, the Cambrian dimensions are listed first. I leave you to draw your own conclusions!

A slight correction to the above dimensions (error on my part - put it down to old age). RCTS part 10 actually quotes a bogie wheel diameter of 3' 6" for the Cambrian 61 class.
I've rechecked the same dimension for the Furness K2 in Rush's book and it definitely says 3' 0".
However, having looked at several pictures of the K2 I suspect that 3' 6" is more likely.

For definitive information on the Furness locos one may care to note that the HMRS lists a general arrangement drawing:

It's a shame they don't have the same for the Cambrian! But they do have drawings of the small bogie and the large Belpaire passenger classes.

Matters seem to be moving on apace and it looks as if a Cambrian 4-4-0 may well be produced. If you look at the Scalefour page to which there is link above you will find an image of the 3d print design. If anybody has any comments/suggestions for improvements please raise them!
