Welshpool & Llanfair track

Post by Malcolmcelyn »

I'm sure I've read somewhere how to model the W&L 2'6" track, showing the baseplates and trackpins (in 7mm scale).
Of course, now I want it, I can't find the article. Anyone have an idea where I might have seen it?

I no longer have a copy, but think it might be in Peter Kazer's book (published by Wild Swan) on modelling narrow gauge prototypes. An alternative source is the Narrow Gauge and Industrial review about ten years ago. Sorry to be a bit vague, but I too seem to remember seeing something!

Malcolm

I have a pdf of an article entitled FINESCALE 7MM NARROW GAUGE TRACKWORK, but it's not W&Ll specific, but it's too big to post here. Shall I email it to you?

Cheers

I don’t have a copy of Peter Kazer’s book, so an issue of NG&I seems more likely. I’ll try that avenue. Cheers.

That would be great Rod. I’m on malcolmcelyn@aol.com

I’ll have to pull my finger out and make a visit to Newport MRC. Will be in touch. Thanks, Malcolm.
