A request that the Archivist cannot answer from Neil Powles, Secretary of 4247 Limited:

"GW 4247 is currently nearing completion of a 10 year Heavy General at East Somerset Railway Workshops. The chosen livery is a first we believe in preservation, but we need WRRC help if possible. She will be out shopped in 1948 British Railway lettering in the Caerphilly font used on some G.W.R. for a short while in that year. We are 99% sure typeface was Grotesque Standard but was the lettering Cream or White ? We urgently need to order transfers.
