The Dee Navigation and the Coming of the Railways

The Railway & Canal Historical Society (RCHS) is holding a meeting in Manchester on Saturday, 9th April 2022 which might be of interest to WRRC members. The speaker is David Parry and the subject of his talk will be ‘The Dee Navigation and the Coming of the Railways’. The meeting will be at The Friends’ Meeting House, 6 Mount Street, Manchester, M2 5NS commencing at 2pm. The Friends Meeting House is behind Manchester’s Central Library and a short walk from St Peters Square tram stop. The meeting is open to non-members and all are welcome.
