Bygone Wagons

Post by wokmad »

Bygone Wagons specialises in 3D printed 4mm models of wagons not covered by the major manufacturers. So far these are of less common GWR types, e.g. Crocodile L in both configurations and Pollen E. Of the others, Water Tank DD1 and Cordons DD4 and DD5 could well be the most useful. The full range is on the website, www.bygone-wagons.com. Surprisingly, this supplier is not yet on the UK Model Shop Directory website.
The models are designed and printed in Tasmania and are supplied fitted with 00-gauge Dapol wheels. These are said to be not removable, but I expect they could be replaced by an enterprising modeller. I have just purchased the L1 crane match truck, which came as a nicely detailed, free running wagon.
