Industrial Locomotive liveries

The following request came in from an acquaintance on another forum and I wondered if anyone in the Circle could help. (Michael has found a little bit of info on GKN but from well outside his period of interest.)

Can anybody provide information and/or source of any photos for industrial locomotive liveries for South Wales area in 1930/40's?

A) GKN Dowlais

B) Ebbw Vale Steel Iron & Coal Co. Ltd., later Richard Thomas & Co. Ltd.

I am looking to build a model of the Cardiff Railway Kitson 0-6-0 tank locomotives, 4 of which were sold by the GWR and went to the above 2 firms (2 to each) for industrial use.
