The body of an ex Barry Railway coach has been found as part of a house on the South coast together with two LBSCR coaches.
The body is in good condition with the slatted seating still in position.
The coach is Barry Railway No.197 a four wheel third-guard-luggage built by the Metropolitan carriage and wagon in 1888.
It was withdrawn in 1923.
I think the The Railway Heritage Register Carriage Survey Project plans to save the coach
