Port Talbot coach on the Culm Valley Railway

The attached view published by Photomatic shows GWR 1300 at Hemyock on the Culm Valley Light Railway in May 1929 with a mixed train. The interesting feature is the 7 compartment carriage which to me looks very much like one of the ex-PTR vehicles. The short overall length of only 42ft 0in would have made them suitable for this line, from which anything much longer was barred. If true, it would have been one of the all-thirds, PT 2/GWR4336 or PT 6/GWR 4349, as the as the former composites, nos. 3 and 7, had an asymmetrical door spacing.

This view is not in the recent History of the CVLR by Colin Maggs, Oakwood 2006, and this carriage not mentioned, although he does deal with those from the ex-Monmouth Railway & Canal, the Manchester & Milford Railway, and latterly the Barry Railway.
