My attention has been drawn to a parliamentary petition which seeks protection of former railway track beds from development so that they could be reused at some point in the future with a particular aim of rural regeneration. The link below allows you to sign.

The closing date for signing the petition is January 28th 2016. If 10,000 signatures are received it will elicit a response from the Government and 100,000 signatures will ensure a debate.
