Traffic dealt with at stations

Post by cambrian51 »

A long time ago, I saw a copy of this GWR internal publication which detailed passenger and goods traffic for individual stations on a yearly basis. It contained figures for such things as tickets sold, parcels receipts, goods tonnages forwarded and received, etc.
I wonder if someone has access to a copy or can point me in the direction of one? I suspect that Kew or York may figure in any replies.
I'm interested in the figures for the stations between Wrexham Central and Ellesmere inclusive. Thus, apart from the aforementioned, they would be Overton-on-Dee, Bangor-on-Dee and Marchwiel. I'm also interested in Toller on the Bridport branch (difficult to prove any Welsh connection).
If anyone can help me, I'd be most grateful.

Stephen

Brunel University's Clinker Collection has a copy: Traffic dealt with and tonnage handled at separate goods stations, 1923-1939, Great Western Railway. I have photocopies of much that is ex Cam Rys and will look them out.
