Model of West Yard and Cardiff Docks Station

I have received this query:

"In the book The Last Survivor by Stuart Owen Jones on pages 18/19/20 the is a model of West Yard and Cardiff Docks Station made by Mr Don Taylor.
Would anyone know what happened to this model? Is Mr Taylor known?"

Can anyone help?

Although this doesn't answer the question posed, I seem to remember this being on public display in Cardiff somewhere. Was it in the old Taff Vale headquarters in Cardiff Bay? Perhaps the National Museum might have it.
