This meeting has been arranged by the North West Group of the Railway & Canal Historical Society (RCHS). The speaker, Philip Lloyd is the latest RCHS member to be awarded a PhD. Philip will draw on his research (for the PhD) to form the basis of his talk on railways and politics in North Wales. Additional details of the talk will be posted on the website (http://www.rchs.org.uk) as soon as they are available.
The talk will take place in The Friends Meeting House, 6 Mount Street, Manchester, M2 5NS commencing at 2:00pm. For further information please consult the website or contact Roger Brice (01625 533959; 07702 303242; rogerbrice@microton.net)
All are welcome but please note that the meeting will be preceded by the North West Group’s AGM (which is usually quite brief!)
