Mersey Railway carriages on the Brecon & Merthyr

Another Brecon & Merthyr enquiry.

I've been trying to find a reasonable scale drawing of the four-wheeled coaches which were originally built for the Mersey Railway in its steam operated days and were disposed of to the Brecon & Merthyr when the Mersey was electrified. At a pinch even a clear photo would help, but there seems to be very little information on the steam stock of the Mersey company.

The HMRS drawings index doesn't seem to have anything and I'm wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction.

The A(N&SW)D&R also had a couple of ex Mersey coaches. I've found one photographed at Treforrest but there's no detail visible. Have you tried asking the HMRS Mersey steward?

PS. I've just found a couple of Mersey loco photos with coaches in the background.

The others are in Railway Archive 2 pages 8,9 & 11.

The HMRS drawings catalogue includes 3 Mersey Railway coaches, drawing numbers 22757-9: these may be what you are looking for, eg

Thanks gentlemen, most helpful. I'm not too far from Butterley so could drop in to check the HMRS drawings; I have to admit that I drew a blank on the web site - perhaps I just don't have the knack!
