Rhiwderyn Level Crossing

A new half barrier has been installed at the Rhiwderyn level crossing adjacent to WRRC's HQ. As of 18th March 2014 the barriers remain wrapped in plastic (see photo). It's an interesting investment on a line that appears to be used by fewer than 1 train a week (from Machen quarry). The embankment retaining wall to the west of the crossing recently received attention and the line side shrubbery was also cleared away.
