I have been sent the attached photo which shows William and Ann Evans with two porters at a railway station. William Evans was employed by the Brecon and Merthyr Railway. The information I have been given is that he was signalman at Pant Station and then station master at Maesycymmer, the photo has been tentatively identified as Talyllyn Junction by the great grandson of William Evans but by a process of elimination rather than positive identification.
The photo is poor quality but any ideas would be gratefully received. The top version I have fiddled with to lighten it a bit, the bottom is the original.

I have found a better picture of the Main building at Talyllyn.
Although it appears there is not a central window over the entrance which is evident in your scan.
