I have today received a printed copy of Quarry Hunslets of North Wales by Cliff Thomas, Oakwook Press.
This is a card backed reprint of the updated 2004 hard cover book, also reprinted as card cover in 2005. Second hand these were going for as much as £60 so at £24.95 it may be of more interest.
This copy is free to any member in exchange for a review.
Please contact
newsletter@wrrc.org.uk if you are interested.
Regards,
Paul.

26th Sept 2025 Update.
Pen & Sword have offered pdf copies of some more titles if anyone want's a copy to review:-
Cliff Railways - Peter Johnson - I guess Welsh content will be the Aberystwyth Cliff Railway, possibly the Great Orme tramway - but I don't have a contents list yet.
Developing a model railway in TT:120 scale - again not sure about Welsh content, but maybe something for the modelers.
George Jackson Churchward - again not necessarily Welsh, but a lot of his designs saw extensive service in Wales.
if anyone want's to review one or more of these please contact -
newsletter@wrrc.org.uk
Thanks.
Paul.
