I've come across a kit for a TVR 4-4-2T in 4mm scale comprising a resin body kit with various fittings on eBay. It is intended to be paired with the Dapol 0-4-2 chassis. The manufacturer's code is DS437A but more I cannot add.

The kit was originally produced by Dave Slater under the Dean Sidings (DS again!) label. Dave 'retired' in 2015 and the range, including this kit, passed to Phoenix precision Paints. https://www.phoenix-paints.co.uk/products/4-welshkits

I wonder whether the body moulding has been made accurately or modified to fit the commercial chassis as the prototype wheelbases were significantly diffeent.
Coupled wheels: TVR 4-4-2T 7'10"; GWR 48xx 7'4".
Rear driver to trailing wheel: TVR 4-4-2T 6'; GWR 48xx 8'2".

As far as I can tell there is nothing in the body kit to restrict a scale chassis.
I attach a comparison between TVR Official drawing 10 (as handed to gwr) and my measurements of my Dean sidings unassembled uncleaned up kit.
I am not claiming the apparent accuracy of my measurements - straight off my digital calipers
Space internal between tank sides is 30mm.
I can't work out how to format the following; there are basically 4 columns; Title of measurement, Official diagram statement in feet and inches, Official dimensionconverted to 4mm, Dean sidings measurement by me. Anything in brackets is a comment

Observable difference Model has top of bunker level with the bottom of the cab –
The official diagram takes it halfway up the cab, level with the top of the firebox or so

Does anyone know a common database of model chassis axle spacings; a glaring hole in model railway resources - I am not averse to using for example LNER chassis if they can easily be adjusted to fit! Or indeed a real loco axle spacing database.
