When did passenger trains start using the connection between the GWR and TVR stations in Cardiff? According to MacDermot the Penarth Junction Lines were opened in December 1875 and the December 1886 Service Book has trains from Bute Street Jn to Penarth. The Up trains are descibed as Taff Vale Passenger. Does anyone have anything before 1886?
