Simon Dawson (aka Rue d'Étropal), is offering Barnum and Bailey Sleeper/Dormitory cars (15 window version) as later sold to the Alexandra Docks & Rly in a variety of scales via Shapeways (see here https://www.shapeways.com/product/EUBXX ... er-15w-car.

It appears that he may be able to modify the model to reflect the coach as operated by the ADR, i.e. with conventional UK buffing gear, etc. if a drawing of the modifications can be supplied. I was wondering if any members has measured up the preserved coach and either has measurements or a drawing.

Any help would be appreciated.

Rod I have measured no.3 and I have already drawn it in 3D and had it test printed. Not happy with the quality I have gone back to a combination of etched brass, 3D printing and off the shelf rtr. Etched brass for the body sides, ends, veranda and wrought iron. 3D roof and underframe. RTR bogies, yes waltzers sell the correct bogies and they’re almost exactly the right size. I’ve documented where I’m up to on rmweb here https://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index ... s-railway/
And here along with some other ADR stuff https://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index ... ch/page/5/

Once I’m happy with no.3 I’ll make it available and move on to nos. 1 & 2 which should be a breeze.

Richard you've done some great work there and I'm really looking forward to seeing the results of your labours, but I assume that your efforts are directly solely towards 4mm, whereas my interests are now in 7mm. So if I'm right I still need to get the obtain the info to make progress in 7mm.
