Neath and Brecon Carriage Ex Hull and Barnsley Railway

I have received the following and was wondering if anyone would be able to help:
Hello,
I am part of a group restoring carriage No1 of the former Hull and Barnsley Railway. This vehicle has been sold to the Neath and Brecon Railway during 1919. It subsequently passed out of service and spent the next sixty years as a domestic dwelling in The Narth.
To aid the restoration, I am writing a potted history of the carriage for the National Transport Trust. One point in particular is worthy of more research.
It has been suggested that H&B carriage No1 may have been one of several carriages sent to France during 1919 to assist in the de mobilisation of troops.
This might be correct if upon return, the carriages sent to France were then sold off by the Railway Executive Committee / Government.
I would be grateful if you could advise whether any ex Neath and Brecon records exist that may shed light on the procurement of ex H&B carriages during 1919? Also whether any photographs showing ex H&B carriages operating on the Neath and Brecon?

p.s. Carriage No 1 had passed into the ownership of the Museum of Wales. It was later gifted to the Hull and Barnsley Stock Fund. The carriage now resides at Hull College where the body will be restored and mounted upon a donor underframe
