Is this a pciture of the Barry Pay Clerk's Van? Yes I know it's Barry 4 plank open 159, but what's hiding behind it?

Tony Miller has previously suggested the same to me.
My model of it is going to need a good bit of guess work!

This is my interpretation of the pay clerk's van. It was prompted by Tony sending me the photo and used the basic dimensions from Mountford's book of Barry diagrams. In the last few years I have built a C to pull it. On my rare excursions with the layout to shows I tell people who ask that the workers regard it as the most important train on the railway.

That's a fine looking model Brian. Is the loco No. 21?

No Rhobat, it’s 22. I did want 21 but I ordered several Barry plates at the same time and somewhere along the line in correspondence with Guilplates I ended up with 22, but not enough of a problem to worry about. 21 was in the works at the time so 22 was deputising but I am sure very few people will realise the significance.
