My website including the railways section, can no longer be accessed at www.fochriwhistory.co.uk since I terminated the contract with the web provider about two years ago. This is because the Natonal Library of Wales requested to archive it, in perpetuity, and at no cost to myself. It can now be accessed at https://www.webarchive.org.uk/wayback/e ... /index.htm . The delay in advising this has been due to a house move. My model railway layout and model of Ogilvie Colliery, as depicted in Maes y Glo in the members layout section, have been casualties since there was no space for them in my new house. The Visitors Centre at Parc Cwm Darran would have liked to have the Ogilvie model but at 14ft by 4 ft they had no space to accommodate it. So 25 years of enjoyment and a little frustration were disposed of in about one week. However, I was able to donate some of the items to fellow modelers and a sizable amount of track and about 50 points to a teenager who was starting his railway modelling hobby.

One thing that I forgot to mention is that following the transfer to the National Library of Wales, sometimes the page advance/return mechanism at the top left and bottom right of some webpages does not always work. For why I do not know. However, this can usually be overcome by changing the page number in the main URL box and then enter that. eg if you are on page347 change it to 348 for the next page.
