Cardiff East finally to get a railway station

Plans for a railway station to the east of Cardiff will go before Cardiff City Council next spring and is intended to be ready by 2023. Read the full story here:

I think you're catastrophising now, Noel.

As far as I'm aware, the sea defences have stood firm ever since the flood of 1607.

Of more immediate significance is the fact that finally, if you live in the east of Cardiff, you'll be able to get into the city centre in about 7 minutes rather than the 40 minutes it takes on the bus. Something worth celebrating, don't you think?
