Sorry, that was a typo on my part, should have been 1906.
Going back to your earlier point, I cannot help you with exports for Barry in 1906, but South Wales Ports, published by the GWR in 1923, has summary import and export data for Cardiff, Newport, Penarth, Barry and Port Talbot for the years 1911-1922, under the headings: no. of vessels arriving, registered tonnage, imports tons, exports coal and coke tons, and other exports tons, plus several pages of descriptions of these ports as well as the other, smaller ports.
The preface to the book notes that it is the first of a series, which was subsequently renamed GWR Docks. The 1937 issue of this has summary info for 1922-1936, and detailed info for 1934-1936. The 1939 issue has ditto for 1925-1938 and 1936-1938.

If it is of any interest the National Library in Aberystwyth appears to hold a complete run of South Wales Coal Annuals. West Glamorgan Archive in Swansea has a run that commences in 1912. Both are open but you have to book in advance.
