I've just bought these photos. First up is a Barry Docks & Rly checkrail chair:
this is a Barry Docks & Rly crossing chair:
cast in 1888 by Isca Foundry is Newport
This is a Barry Railway ordinary chair:
as it is marked BRC it it post August 1891. The rusty patina on the rail shows that the running side was on the key side of the chair. So the Barry was still building inside keyed track in 1891.
