Cliff Harris’s Models

Post by Wagonworks_andy »

A sale of the late Cliff Harris's models at the AGM.
All the models are 4mm scale, 16.5 gauge, most locos run on a power supply but I have not tried them on track.
There are dozens of locos, coaches and wagons, some built and painted, some partly built and some unstarted kits which are either etched, plastic or whitemetal from many railway companies although most are from South Wales. Some will need some TLC!
There are also some ready to run items.
It is suggested anyone wanting a model make donation for charity.
Apparently Cliff was a generous benefactor with a number of charities so this would seem a fitting plan?

I look forward to seeing that. Do you happen to know what happened to his photo collection?

I have seen some of what will be available. Some of the locos are wonderful. Some are a bit patchy but with work would be well worth buying, Sorry I won't be at the AGM but we will be on holiday.

Some of Cliff's photograph collection have made their way to the Rhiwderin archives. I do not know the full extent of his collection to say whether this is complete.
