I've received the following enquiry, can anyone help?

Sir,

I have acquired an old Gateneal 7mm kit of the above locomotive. I unfortunately only have one picture of this rather camera shy specimen taken at Bury Port and I wonder if you have any more in your archives that would be of help?

There are three photos (K351-353) in the RCTS book Locos of the GWR part 10. One photo, at Duffryn Yard, is also in Russell’s Pictorial Record of GW Absorbed Engines (fig 557) with a sketch (fig 555).

There is a good drawing and notes by Don Townsley in Model Railways August 1981 pages 454 & 455.
