I just hope that at least one of the four-wheelers and one of the six-wheelers are actually models of something, be they GER or LBSC or whatever, rather than something generic.

You may be right Rod, but the indications from the publicity were that generic models were exactly what will be on offer. More details will no doubt emerge as the models progress through the production process. The only things that are not generic are the liveries on offer, the vast majority of them being English independent companies of course.
