As I pointed out earlier to Penrhos1920, any basic picture editor has the facility to reduce file size for inline posting.
Maybe you could explain how to do it with 'Photos' on the iPad?

Hopefully a couple of photos attached.

A C class with a highly improbable British Railways suburban coach, but I hope it gives an idea of the colours.

A Redcraft J class and the scratch built C behind it.

Sorry about the size of the pictures, I thought that I had set the camera to a lower resolution, better luck next time.

I hope this may help with the choice of livery.

Brian
Thanks Brian very helpful.

Perhaps the most user friendly way would be for the administrator to use this
https://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtop ... #p13013284 .
That should result in images that neatly fit the screen width.

Thanks Andrew, I've see the maximum image height and width to 400 px, which I hope has done the job, I'd appreciate some feedback on this to ensure that it works for everybody but please PM me rather than clog up this topic.

Richard, do you happen to recall the diameter of the driving wheel axles on the Bachmann model please?

Thanks for the response Richard, but I expect that that is the wheel diameter rather than the axle's. 1/8" or 3mm perhaps?
