Barry Railway Class C

Post by Rhobat Bryn »

As you may know, the Publications Working Group is in the process of producing a Barry Railway drawings book, similar to the Rhymney one published in 2010. One of our members has very kindly agreed to produce a Class C 2-4-0T drawing for the book as well as the 2-4-2T version. In order to achieve this, both he and the PWG would be very grateful for any photos that you may have of this loco which we could borrow and scan. They would not be used for publication. I understand that photos of this loco are quite rare, Rhiwderin has only five, so any help you can provide would be much appreciated.

Many thanks Penrhos 1920. I have the first photo but not the second. As far as I know, the 2-4-0T photo is the only one of that version of the class.
