Barmouth Bridge Fire
I haven't seen much about it apart from local news reports but apparently there was a fire on early Tuesday morning on Barmouth Bridge leading to closure of the line. The line is still closed but is due to re-open tomorrow (Monday). Replacement buses have been operating from Barmouth to Tywyn although the pedestrian footpath across the bridge has remained open. I don't have any details about the cause of the fire or the extent of the damage. Can anyone add to this?
