Cardiff Railway Steam Railmotor

I was looking at the Circle's data sheet for liveries and noticed there was no mention of the livery for Cardiff Railway coaches. Black and white photos show the steam railmotor as having a light livery above the waistband and a dark livery below the waistband. Does anyone know what the colours were?

Thanks Noel, that's very helpful. The surprise in your post was that the purchased coaching stock was varnished teak. Do you know if there any photos of this?
