Which car paint is the closest to Rhymney Loco Green?

The WRRC datasheet no.1 lists Humbrol Brunswick Green as one possible options. It is listed third of 3 possible sources but I'm not sure if that is some form of ranking or just that there are 3 suggestions and Humbrol is the third. Anyway it is still available and the link below will take you to the Humbrol website which includes a colour patch. How reliable that is I don't know so if you try this or find other alternatives, I'm sure we'd all like to hear your feedback on suitability.

If you're specifically looking for a car paint Peugeot Conifer has been suggested on RmWeb as an equivalent for Brunswick green.

From the same source comes this info which might be useful if you can find out what the GCR boys use. One Corneliuslundie said this "I was told some time ago that Rhymney Railway green is almost the same or possibly even identical to GCR green - as is often the case someone (probably Cornelius Lundie) moved from the MS&L as it then was to the Rhymney and took the colour with him. I can't now remember the source of the information but was a "hitherto reliable source". If you can't get hold of the Precision GCR colour the RR colour, also by Precision, may be an option." Elsewhere on RmWeb Forward! says " Ford 'Meadow Green' is pretty close match to GCR passenger loco green"

At the risk of opening a can of worms Coachman said "GCR green was said by Ernest Carter to be very dark and that it looked better on a small scale model if lightened." but this is very much personal preference.
